On Friday morning I worked over at an IPS school on 10th / Dearborn. They are demolishing the building and I was working with an art conservator to help secure a mural that needs to be removed prior to demo. Interesting stuff, but I was really sick the whole time.. Manual labor while sick is no fun at all. It's really too bad they are getting rid of this building.. It's a beautiful building from the 1920's. If I get back in I'm going to take some pictures. I did however get some vintage hooks form the kid's coat rooms.
As far as losing the weekend, I believe I had a bad allergy... It's still undetermined. I pretty much laid in bed from Friday afternoon until this morning. It was awful. I seemed to be ok today. Jim came over and we wrote some music, then headed over to the chinese joint around the corner for some lunch. I kind of lost track of time after that. I've been cleaning up the house this evening.
I'm going to get Greta signed up for the dog park. I think I'll be able to make it that way tomorrow. I also scheduled an appt to get a estimate on finishing the fencing in the yard. Greta got out today, it scared me a bit. I really want to have the yard secured so she can't get away again.
Oh yes, one more thing. I won a free lunch for 15 at India Garden via the ol' business card in the fishbowl deal.. totally sweet... This is my second recent winning. The other I will post about later.. I'm waiting on a photograph.
